Any scheduled Steel & Soul classes will be available to book under the 'book classes' tab. To hear, in advance, when classes are scheduled, sign-up to the 'newsletter' via the footer of the website and be sure to add hello@steelandsoul.com to your contacts/ 'safe senders' list to avoid the emails going into your junk/spam folders. You can also hear about what classes are scheduled by following the Steel & Soul Yoga page on Facebook.
We offer one-off 'pop-up' classes rather than 'regular' weekly, scheduled classes to work with the magic of Kerri's spontaneous, creative energy which is always potent and supportive.
You are very welcome to join at any level. As far as possible, variations to deeper or more complex poses will be given. You are very welcome at anytime in the class to stop, pause, and rest if parts of it feel too challenging. The class is your time, dedicated to yourself (your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual health), so we encourage you to tune into YOU, listen to your body and needs on the day and simply let that be your guide. The teachers instruction is simply guidance and you know your body and abilities best, so we very much encourage you to 'do you.'
Almost all our classes and offerings include some form of meditation. If you are looking for more specific or direct guidance on meditation, there are some lovely meditation practices you can follow in our Virtual Studio >here<
Simply moving the breath and working with it in intentional ways for a specific outcome. Different ways we work with it can support various aspects of our wellbeing including lower stress, deeper sleep, emotional release, improved energy levels and overall vitality etc.

Almost all classes, will require you to bring your own mat and this will be noted in the class information. Aside from that, wear comfortable clothes and drinking water may be helpful.
Regardless of the style of class, you are always welcome to bring any extra props you may find supportive e.g yoga blocks, yoga strap etc. Chunky, cosy socks are welcome for during relaxation at the end of the class or just in general if it is a slow, gentle class. As always, tune into what would best support YOU for the particular class and the class information will always guide on anything that might be needed for specific classes.
Also, always bring an open heart and mind 😉
A loving, supportive and nurturing space to tend to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Rather than being your 'guru' or 'the expert,' we want to simply show you 'how' and equip you with the tools to support yourself.
Whilst the yoga world generally labels yoga by the style / origin (e.g Hatha, Vinyasa etc) we would rather categorise the classes by how they may make you feel. Depending on the class, it may evoke feelings of relaxation, empowerment, calm, groundedness, confidence, vitality and so much more. This is always explained in the class description so you know what to expect from that particular class.
There is no right or wrong thing to wear, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Comfortable to move and breathe freely, and comfortable in yourself. Soft, loose clothing is especially great and it is always worth having an extra layer or two to be able to put on, just in case. For classes where we have relaxation at the end (most classes), our body temperature will drop, so it's especially supportive to have an extra cosy layer to be able to put on then. Also, for outdoor classes, extra layers are always helpful as we know the British weather can turn in an instant! In short, comfortable, warm and supportive.
I am certified with a 200 hours YTT which I gained in 2017 in Nepal. I continue to further my knowledge and studies in different areas with most recent additional trainings in breathwork.
